Mentax is used to treat athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.

Serious side effects of butenafine topical use are not anticipated. Stop using butenafine topical and see your physician if you have unusual or severe blistering, itching, redness, peeling, dryness, swelling, or discomfort of the skin.
